Antenatal clinic – Wednesday 9.00 – 10.00 Antenatal booking in clinic
10.15 am – 11.45 am - Antenatal clinic
Clinics
There are a number of clinics available at Monteagle surgery. They include:
- Asthma clinic – Thursday afternoon
- DM and heart disease clinic – Monday afternoon
- Family planning – With Nurse Sue Millard (family planning trained)
- Phlebotomy (blood taking) clinic – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings
- Counsellor – by appointment, Friday mornings
- Dietician – by appointment, one clinic a month
- Midwife/antenatal clinics - Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning.
- Cryotherapy clinic -Thursday afternoons with Dr Williams
- Minor operation - by appointment with own GP
- Travel clinic - Monday and Thursday afternoons. Please note: you need to complete a travel questionnaire prior to the appointment, which you can obtain from reception.
- Psychologist – by appointment, Wednesday mornings

Non-NHS services
Private medical examinations for HGV licences, motor racing, scuba diving etc can be provided but we charge for these according to guidelines from the British Medical Association. Private medical forms/Passport photos/driving licence photos and forms will also be signed but a charge will be made.
A charge will also be made for general photocopying, letters at the request of patient etc. The reception staff have a comprehensive list of charges so if you need more information please do not hesitate to ask the receptionist.
